About our blog…

Meredith and Virginia work together at the Circulation Desk at the Falmouth Memorial Library.  At the beginning of 2012, we created a book display featuring recent “choice reads”–books that enjoyed time on a bestseller list, or a “best of” list.  The display became a way to feature books we enjoyed, but might be missed in the general stacks.  As patrons began to stock up on summer reading, we realized our first picks and even many of our second picks were checked out, and decided to become the Falmouth Book Baristas, and to create this blog.  We will recommend the books we like (and not the books we don’t) and will offer lists of suggested reads.
